Zishta pre-seasoned cast iron Grill Pan is made by the traditional artisans of Tamil Nadu, using the traditional sand moulds from the local river sand, known for it's speciality of fine sand as it is in a high flow region of the river. Being hand-made, these have slighly higher carbon presence on surface and has a slightly rustic look.
The thickness & quality of Zishta cast iron skillet gives it longer life, higher iron density, retains heat longer and consumes less oil. Your grills tastier now and no more harmful chemicals in your kitchen.
These grill pan are induction friendly, works well on gas as well as on hot plates.

Are they Pre-seasoned?
All our Iron & Cast Iron Cookware are pre-seasoned following traditional techniques. We use Gingely (Sesame) oil for the seasoning process.
How to start using the Cast Iron cookware?
First wash the cookware really well. then heat it in gas burner, add 2- 3 spoons of cooking oil and cut an onion and fry it in them for about 5-7 mins in low flame. Then discard the onions and the cookware is ready for use.
