I have used it twice and have felt a perfect product for cooking.
In intense cold of northern India it keeps food warm for longer than standard kadai. Food cooked in it is very nutritious and don't get stick of burn while cooking.

My favourite Kalchatti's

Kalchatti reminds me of my childhood days. My grandma always used to make traditional kerala style curries like chakka erusheri, chakkakuru vellerikka olan, sambar, pulingari, aviyal and what not in her Kalchatti's and they used to retain the aroma of the food for longer hours.
Am so glad to see Zishta has come up with such a noble thought of bringing back tradition into our kitchens. The new generation, especially, is unaware of the goodness and health benefits of these utensils as they are mostly used to non stick pots and pans only. Thank you Zishta for bringing back the non toxic utensils, especially my favourite Kalchatti's. I have placed 2 orders one after the other and am in touch with your team for much more. The best thing that I liked is your Sales Support and more than that the After Sales Services which I have personally experienced. The team understands and addresses our concerns as a customer.

Thank you Zishta for making and bringing these treasured pieces to our homes away from India.I bought 2 of the large parats.1 i use for my special festival days and the other one is used in kitchen every day.Easy wash with regular soap.But i dry them up after washing as it might stain if water is left and even after months it is shining like gold.The delivery and packing was perfect very prompt and no damage.
