"Loree Hamlei", the local name for stone pottery of Manipur is a traditional cookware which is used by the local community even today. The clay used is obtained by crushing and mixing of two types of rocks that are locally found in the region.

It looks traditional and gets heated up very fast.I made Mor kuzhambu and the taste was great.The vegetables got cooked in minutes.and the item got ready in in just 15 mins and it did not get sour till night,even though it was kept out and not in the fridge
