Kansa Serving Bowls: Pot Shape - Handcrafted Depth For Every Serve
The Kansa Serving Bowls in a Pot Shape are traditional hand-beaten bowls made from pure Kansa. These bowls feature a distinctive pot-shape silhouette - a wide belly tapering down, giving them the depth and capacity and are perfect for serving side dishes, gravies, desserts or condiments.
Kansa is considered one of the best metals to eat from due to its cultural relevance and age-old associations with wellness and balanced living. This handcrafted bronze serveware is durable, elegant, and reheating-friendly.
Product Highlights
- Material: Made of Pure Kansa (Bronze), a traditional alloy of Copper and Tin known for its high durability and Ayurvedic benefits.
- Design: Distinctive Pot-shape design - a rounded, deeper form that offers excellent capacity and better heat retention. Wide open mouth for easy serving of food.
- Dual-Tone finish - Upper section has a bright polished golden shine, lower section retains the charcoal-finish patina, a signature Odisha Kansa characteristics that reflects the metal's traditional firing and shaping process.
- Heritage & Artisan Signature: Crafted by Odisha artisans using age-old hammering and lathe techniques, each bowl carries artisanal texture, and slight variance. The charcoal-finish base - signature hallmark of Odisha's Kansa craft - adds authenticity, durability, and a unique artisanal character.

- Care and Maintenance: Easy to maintain. Wash with regular dish washing soap or liquid and use a soft scrubber. Avoid using harsh detergents for cleaning. After washing, dry thoroughly to prevent water spots or oxidation.
