Storing salt, tamarind, pickles or setting curd: Zishta maakal (soapstone) containers provide the most natural and aesthetic alternative to make your kitchen traditional and authentic.

These traditional maakal containers are used to make the tastiest & thick curd. Curd sets within 4-5 hours as soapstone retains heat.

Amazing taste of curd

The soapstone curd setter is amazing!! I bought a L size and I used it to make curd with 1/2 liter of milk..
The curd turned out perfect - I am setting the curd with slightly hot milk (hotter than lukewarm)..
I plan to use these soapstone containers to store cooked food also..
