Traditionally Brass is seen as a good alternative to heavier bronze cookware for rice. Tin coating is critical for the same and it has to be refurbished every 1-2 years depending on level of usage.
Brass could react with acidic material stored, so we provide these cooking pots with tin coating to provided added level of safety.
These brass cooking pots are crafted by the traditional artisans of Tamil Nadu who have been making brass kitchen products for last 8-10 generations.
