Cast Iron Loop – Round Skillet – Versatile Cookware & Bakeware
The Cast Iron Loop – Round Skillet is a sturdy, everyday skillet designed for Indian kitchens that cook across styles. It is a circular cast iron pan with two loop handles, making it easy to lift, move, and serve. You can use it on the stove or inside the oven for baking, roasting, shallow frying, sautéing, or slow cooking.
Made from high-quality cast iron, this skillet heats evenly, holds heat for long, and keeps food warm after cooking. It suits daily meals as well as oven-based recipes.
While skillets come from Western cooking traditions, this version is adapted for Indian curries, vegetables, and everyday home food.
Product Highlights
• Dual loop handles for safe handling - The two side handles offer a firm grip when lifting the skillet from stove to oven or table. This makes it easier to handle hot food without tipping.
• Even heat for consistent cooking - The cast iron body spreads heat evenly across the surface. This helps avoid hot spots and cooks food uniformly, especially useful for curries and shallow frying.
• Works as cookware and bakeware - You can use this skillet for stovetop cooking as well as oven baking. It suits roasting vegetables, baking flatbreads, or finishing dishes in the oven.
• Retains heat for longer - Once heated, the skillet stays warm for a long time. Food remains hot even after switching off the flame, which is helpful for serving.
• Thick cast iron for long life - The thickness and density of the iron improve durability. With basic care, this skillet is made to last for years of regular use.
Why Choose This Cast Iron Skillet
• No chemical coating - This skillet has no synthetic non-stick layer. It is safe for daily cooking and avoids exposure to harmful chemicals.
• Uses less oil over time - With regular use and seasoning, the surface improves naturally. You will need less oil compared to many modern pans.
• Supports traditional cooking methods - Cast iron supports slow cooking, searing, and high-heat cooking, making everyday food taste fuller and more balanced.
• Tested and safety compliant - Zishta cast iron cookware is tested in a NABL-accredited laboratory and complies with EU RoHS standards, ensuring safe material quality.
• Fits modern and traditional kitchens - Though inspired by global skillet design, this version works well for Indian cooking styles and everyday home meals.
