Returns & Replacement Policy
Before you decide to return a product of Zishta, please take a moment to understand how our products are made. All our products are handcrafted by traditional rural artisans who have been making the products by their hand using the method that their ancestors taught them. Our products are neither machine-made nor mass produced.
This results in each product being unique and slightly different from each other. Let us not think of slight roughness, mild shape variations, imperfections or lack of aesthetic finish as a defect. This is the beauty of handmade products and also confirms the authenticity that they are not machine-made. Zishta stands behind the quality of our products.
We request you to kindly read the instruction leaflet carefully before first use. If any pre-cautions /care are not followed during usage (some products have certain precautions in the first 10-15 uses), any replacement/refund claims will not be entertained.
We request you to check the product details thoroughly before buying any product. You can check detailed product catalog for products here
We have designated certain breakable products like Soapstone, Manipur Pots and Clay ware, Nakashi Paintings etc. as non-returnable products. They have been mentioned in bold on the product page. Please check those restrictions while placing the order itself. Any request for return of designated non-returnable products will not be approved. If customer wishes to return/exchange, the same has to be packed and shipped back by customer and any damage to product at the time of delivery to us at our warehouse, product value will be deducted against return/exchange.
Return & Replacement Policy - Shipments within India RegionReturns/replacements are applicable only in the unlikely event that your Zishta products arrived damaged or damaged in first use.
You must submit the return & replacement form here or email us at support@zishta.com about any damaged items within 2 days of receiving your order and also send us a picture of the damaged item. Your form/email submission should contain the following:
- (a) Picture of the product in case of damage (b) mention your order number in the subject line (c) mention in the email if you wish a refund or exchange or credit coupon for the product. (d) mention reason for return (eg: handle cracked etc)
- Please Note that we would not entertain exchange of manipur pots, clay, Soapstone products for different sizes as return pick up generally results in damage of these products. We will only process replacement/ refund if the shipped product is damaged during transit.

Our team will contact you within 24 hours over phone/whatsapp or email to access the request. Authorization for return for the product will be provided after the query has been found valid by our quality team. The sole decision of considering the validity of the query after hearing it from the customer lies with the Zishta team.
In case you do not raise a returns claim using the form or through email within the prescribed time you shall not be eligible for a return.
We aim to process refund or exchange for products in about 10-12 working days. If you have any questions about the above, feel free to reach out to Zishta at support@zishta.com
We will initiate the store credit /exchange after we receive the item and it has gone through the necessary quality checks.
A pickup for the product will be initiated by Zishta unless its unserviceable or product comes under non-exchangeable category.
Upon authorization of return of damaged product, Zishta will provide refund to the value of the damaged product or you could exchange the damaged product for a fresh product or you can opt for credit coupon for future purchases.
Refund for Cash on Delivery orders will be only through Store credit.
Returns of undamaged products are usually not entertained. As a rare exception, in case you still wish to return an undamaged product, please follow the following procedure for the returnA Returns & Exchanges Form should be completed and sent along with the goods. - Once your return request is approved you need to aptly package and ship the product into the mentioned address in their original condition. Please note the any request for exchange, will be have to be approved within the 7 days exchange period. Any delays from customer end in confirming the exchange product within 7 days of delivery, will be rejected and no future request for exchange will be entertained.
- In case you prefer to courier by yourself, please ensure that the product is sent within 7 days on receiving approval for return request. Any product shipped after that period will not be eligible for refund. In case you wish Zishta to pick up the products, the items for reverse pick up will be picked up within 5-7 business days from the date of request.
- Both onward & return shipping charges will not be refunded. Please note that Zishta subsidises onward shipping cost for its customers and takes a portion of the cost. Hence, during a return, the shipping cost may not match what Zishta had charged the customer while sending the products initially.
- Please ensure that the returned product is unused, undamaged and is in a saleable condition. We request you to maintain the original packaging of the items to be returned, including the Zishta tags. Please ensure that all the returned items are packed securely and safely to prevent any loss or damage during transit.
- You can opt for a refund or a credit coupon for future purchases. This needs to be mentioned in your email. For Cash on Delivery orders, refund can be done only through Store Credits.
Return & Replacement Policy- Shipments outside India Region
Please note our team takes special precautions and protection for international shipping to make sure all the products reach you safely. Please note that we do not have the reverse pick up possibility from any region and we request you to kindly check all the details of the products you want before purchase with our experienced customer support team. They will guide you throughout the purchase. Currently we do not have any return/replacement process for int. shipping. The only available recourse is when the product reaches you damaged.- Please note that for int. shipping return/replacement policy is applicable only if the products are damaged upon arrival.
- If and when you receive the package and upon opening the same, if you find any product damaged, please take pictures and share it with us at support@zishta.com or Whatsapp us at http://wa.me/919008220185
- As per our policy , we refund up to the 100% of the product value of the damaged product.
- With certain incremental shipping cost agreed upon by customer, replacements can be provided on case to case basis.
