For long I had been looking for a ghee pot whose lid can close fully so as to delay rancidity. This one comes with a tin coating ( on lid too) which is an added advantage. It is neither heavy nor light, but sturdy. The spoon is of apt size. I have previously bought dosa tawa, skillet, clay items, kalchatti, tadka pan, iron kadai and wok from Zishta and this ghee pot is an addition to my existing collection 😀 of Zishta products. This product is very ideal for a family of four

Got my tawas promptly in a week and the quality is quite good. Had a lot of questions regarding initial preparation which were patiently answered by the zishta team. Have used it a couple of times to make appe and they turned out to be quite good. There is definitely a difference in taste in food prepared in cast iron utensils. Dry roasts dals really nice. My go to kadai for all sorts of vegetable cookings. Just that potato sticks to the bottom but the final taste is awesome. Curries taste as though I cooked on coal stove.
