  • Meenakari’, is an ancient art of colouring and ornamenting the surface of metals. It is done by fusing over it brilliant colours that are patterned in an intricate design. 

  • It is made of copper as the base with enamelling in beautiful colour combinations of blue, green and yellow. 

  • The platter uses the technique of Cloisonné. The copper wire is stretched to form an enchanting geometrical pattern of squares filled with colours. 

  • The process is long and complex, and a single piece of Mina can pass through many hands before it is completed: designer, engraver, enamelist, polisher. 

  • The craft is exclusive and made to order. It takes 10 days to create it.
