Kansa usage was brought to our notice by the artisans of Orissa whom we met by chance in an exhibition. This motivated us to travel to Orissa to understand in detail the rich traditions of communities in Central India and their heritage of using Kansa to store and serve food. Though usage has been documented well beyond thousand of years, the history of this cluster dates back to 12th Century when Puri Jagannath Temple was enshrined. Their craftsmanship with Kansa and Peetal are well known across the region and have been an integral part of our traditions since inception. Our Kansa range is to focused on bringing back the authentic products that have been an integral part of our homes for long!
